The apricot and jalapeño glazed cedar plank salmon with crispy Brussels and macaroni and cheese was AMAZING. It was so good I had it twice during my 5 day stay. The salmon is a great balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The Brussels are cooked to delicious perfection. The mac and cheese was dense but also creamy and cheesy.

We stumbled across the Fourth Street Live area. With the many places to choose from to eat lunch we went with Guy's BBQ spot. It was well worth it. We started with the pretzel appetizer. I could bathe in that cheese sauce. The pretzels were a perfect match to the cheese, a must get menu item. As you can see from my pics everything we as top notch. We sat outside which kind of inside because the street is covered. There was music playing and it appears they have different events all the time.

I went here for a friends birthday, and I must say, the food was AMAZING. Loved the Jalapeno margarita. I wasn't crazy over the pork rinds, but the burger was a must!! I would definitely visit again when in the area.

The food here is ridiculously delicious. The pulled pork is so tender it's mind blowing. Their meatloaf is out of this world with all the meats it packs. We were definitely taken to flavor town. I want to visit again REAL soon

Exceptional food. You can't go wrong with any of it! But for goodness sake, try the brisket meatloaf... WOW

The restaurant has a reputation for good food that is not to be understated. Excellent food, great service good bar selections but of course as your in the center of the bourbon trail area. Live music every Friday in the restaurant and often right outside in the common area of fourth street. Exceptionally clean bathrooms. Great overall!!

Our server was so nice and the ladies at the hostess stand were too. That said, we waited for our food for over an hour (mine came out much later than my boyfriend’s) and when it came out the chicken was cold and overcooked. This didn’t seem to be a one-time issue because the folks next to us sent food back and reading over the reviews it seems like long wait times and cold food is a pretty common occurrence. Hopefully y’all can fix it because it’s at such a nice spot!

I had one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever enjoyed here just today. I never would have ordered it if I hadn’t of just eaten a whole ton of prime rib and ham and sausage the day before on Christmas. So I was all “meated†out. anyway, the Brussels sprout/ sweet potato salad was absolutely amazing - I’d go here just for this. I don’t even like Brussels sprouts normally- in fact I usually cannot stand them. But this dish was to die for. Order it I swear you’re gonna thank me. Had the pig-wing appetizers to go with it and I was extremely satisfied. My friend had the trash can nachos and they too were excellent. I thought this would be a tourist trap but I’d definitely go back.

Service was great and attentive, the food was even better. The Smokehouse burger was to die for. They also have a good Whiskey and Beer selection. Great for any fan of BBQ.

We loved this place! The food was absolutely amazing, I had to keep telling myself to slow down. I got the chicken and alone it was good but dipped into the bbq sauce it had blew me away. The desserts were also massive. We shared with the couple we were with and had a ton left over. Hubby said the chocolate cake was really rich and dense. Our waitress was also good and attentive.

After reading these reviews (mostly negative) I was skeptical and hesitant to dine here. But, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I am SO glad I did. We ordered 1) JuJu Chicken Wings and 2) Smoked Gouda & Pale Ale Fondue. The food was AMAZING, easily the best wings I have ever had. Guy did not disappoint.

This was our first trip and it was a good experience.Even though the place was packed, it felt like we had plenty of room. The atmosphere was laid back and cool. Plus, the place smells like delicious barbeque. The staff were also very friendly, and the location allows you to walk out to other venues for a fun date night. The server got us our drinks rather quickly and my old fashioned was tasty. They have a decent selection of beers on tap, but only one IPA...The fondue cheese was delicious and their pretzel sticks that come with it were baked perfectly. We also ordered their spicy pork rinds. They were good as well.Nicole really enjoyed her chicken fried chicken, bacon brussel sprouts, and gravy. My Mac and cheese burger was good, but the burger could have had more flavor to it. The trio fries were cool, but lacked pizazz in the flavor department as well.Overall, I would recommend checking this place out for good food followed by a fun time on the town.

We had a 20 minute wait, was seated in about 30. I ordered a beer, came out nice and cold, my wife got a burbon, also good. Placed our order in, did not see waitress again for 15 minutes, drinks gone, after 20 more minutes got up to leave and pay for drinks. A different waiter ask why we were leaving, he found manager, said computer error, sure I believe that, not! Maybe it will be better next time. I hope so. If you look at pic, does not look very busy.

The wings here are HUGE! On the menu it was a shareable and so I was thinking it would about 6 wings but I got 9 wings. They do the count by the pound so that’s why I got 9 wings. I also got a side of macaroni and it had goldfish on top. I was not expecting that. The waiter was able to service our entire group of 6 very well, which surprised me because they were rowdy. The food came quick, it was HOT and delicious. I would definitely try this place. I will say the food is pricey. My wings, side of Mac and cheese and water costed me $20 exact. The wings themselves cost $11. I don’t remember how much the Mac and cheese and drink cost. But you do get BIG portions so it was worth it. All and all, great place, sporty atmosphere and great food.

Loved the atmosphere. Reminded me of the show diners, drive ins and dives. I met guy at an Indy 500, good people.

Best place I've ever eaten at, forever going here for special events. Great environment, messy and amazing food, and a great crew to make it all worth while. The Trashcan Nachos are a must no matter what other items you get with it. With two maybe three people, you will almost always have enough to spare for a take home with this tower of flavor power. If you don't mind soggy nachoes and focus on the flavor of the great sause that it comes with, they even taste fantastic reheated. (Just advice for those who never eat take home but feel bad if they waste all that food)

Amazing food, great service. Our waiter was on it. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. He explained it very well. The whole staff made it a pleasant experience. I'll definitely be coming back.

Awesome place! Loved the location. Food was delicious and all as ordered. Our server, Sydni, was perfect! She was attentive, friendly and served with a smile. Great experience!

We were visiting from out of town and figured we would try this place out. The food was pretty good. I got the Juju Chicken Wings and a side of Brussel Sprouts with Parmesan and Bacon. Both were really good. My husband got the Bacon Mac n Cheese Burger with fries. He said the fries were really good and the burger was alright. Our waitress was really nice although service was a little slow. They were not that busy but we still didn't get our food until almost 50 minutes after we sat down.

Pull pork sandwich was to die for, fries were awesome....and their house ranch is EXCELLENT!!!

Great food and service, not as pricey as anticipated

Incredible service, food, atmosphere, everything! I ordered the fondue as an appetizer and the cheese fondue tasted amazing. I also ordered the 18 hour brisket for my meal and the brisket was delicious. If you happen to be in Louisville, you need to go to this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for good BBQ in Louisville.
Terrance Trybus
Had his signature Mac & cheese bacon burger. Sweet tea was great. Service very good. Nice atmosphere. Fries could have been fresher.
Jim Hope
Everything was great! Medium to High end price tho. It's not cheap and cheap isn't always good. "I'll be back"
Blake Smith-Bohnert
Really good BBQ! Worth trying for the experience if nothing else.Get the dumpster fries (or whatever they're called). They'll take you straight to flavor town.
Joseph Bibb
This place is OUTSTANDING, absolutely amazing, very casual and laid back. The staff was Grady and was jumping to get anything we needed before we even asked.

Good food. Pricing is reasonable. Pulled pork and the pork wings were good. The real star were the fries.
Caleb Kaltenbach
Best pulled pork you will eat, hands down. Smoked for 13 hours. The pretzel bun adds amazing flavor to the melt in your mouth pulled pork, along with the variety of fries that comes along with the meal. Also, not highly expensive if you're looking for somewhere somewhat affordable for you and your family for dinner. Highly, highly reccomend this one. You won't leave unhappy. :)

Love the 4th Street Live experience and was a bit hesitant to try Guy’s place but I really enjoyed it here. It has a great vibe and the location is great inside and out. If you go get the Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese burger... it’s the namesake’s signature burger so have to say you tried it. I loved it. Service was efficient and not overdone which I liked. Lot of unique takes on pub friendly foods. Highly recommend it!

Three of my coworkers and I decided to give this place a try since it was close to our hotel! We all enjoyed our food and our server, Kevin, was pretty cool! I ordered a Long Island and I must say it was terrible: hence the 4 stars! However, the salmon I ordered was quite tasty! It had an apricot jalapeño glaze on it and it was cooked on a cedar plank! I really enjoyed it and the brussel sprouts with bacon were cooked well too. One of my coworkers ordered the brisket and she absolutely loved it! My other two coworkers thoroughly enjoyed their dishes as well. I enjoyed my food but I'm not sure I would go running back!

What a disappointment! How does a BBQ restaurant run out of pulled pork on a Saturday night in February? So I had to settle for brisket, which was cold when it was brought to my table. Also, I ordered a side of mac and cheese which had goldfish crackers in it. What the heck? Glad Louisville is a nice city. This restaurant was a total bust, though.
Rhonda Harris
The pork skins were stellar! I had the cedar smoked salmon with a side of brussel sprouts and diced sweet potatoes. The smoked flavor was a little overkill on the sides but I realize I'm in a BBQ joint and I can deal with it.The table had various BBQ entrees and everyone was very pleased.in addition to BBQ one plate was the turkey burger and that was exceptional. The service was outstanding!

We were exploring 4th street on our days in Louisville and saw the restaurant and suddenly felt the urge to get some barbecue food! We had 3 people in our group so we decided to order a few appetizers and order a barbecue platter since the portions could be big from past experience. For appetizers, I had to say, my favorite is the Pork Wings, it's very juicy and meat comes right off the bones. As for the platter, as I mentioned before, the portions are very big. In order of our favorite, it is definitely the sausage, rib-eye, brisket and pulled pork. We felt the pulled pork was a bit dry but everything else was just amazing!

This is one of the best Bar-B-Que smokehouse I have ever been to. The food was excellent! The service was fanomanal! And the cocktails were very unique and delicious! I don't make it to Louisville often, but I know where I will be eating next time I'm in town! It might be the reason I go back sooner rather than later!

Guy Fieri needs to take his name off this place and just call it Smokehouse. The presentation of my burger was appealing (served on grilled Texas toast, but whatever), but the taste was so-so. Nothing to rave about or to keep me coming back. Would look great as a photo or on television, but disappointing as a meal. The outstanding service lifted this place to 3 stars.

Great place! There is usually a wait time.

Brisket was really good. Overall, the food and service were good.

Nice experience and friendly staff. We had a group reception for about 30 people and the overall experience was positive. The food was good and above average but not spectacular. The area is lively and vibrant the excellent spot for bar hopping. My favorite finger food was the spicy fries which is highly recommended.

Great atmosphere fast service great food welcome to flavortown

They hadn't been open very long (a few months)the heat was out so it was cold. And wasn't very impressed with the food menu. Had one beer and left

You must try the pork rinds. They’re to die for. Brisket is amazing. Our service was great. We went on a Friday night, we walked right in and got a table. Hunter was our server and he was great. We usually try to stay away from chain restaurants and I can’t tell you the last time we went to 4th Street, but it was a great dinner.

First time in Kentucky so had to check out Guys spot! I ordered the chipotle shrimp and hot link pasta...nothing to rave about at all!!!! Dish was pretty small is serving size for $20 bucks, average seasoning and lacked overall presentation. The waitress was nice and pleasant which is why I gave it a 3 star.*Visiting from North Carolina

What a great place to eat. The food was amazing. The service was a little slow but there was a huge increase in business due to a conference that was in town and the management team was not aware so they were not staffed. They did great though and treated us really well. The only reason that I gave them 4 stars was due to their prices. They are a tad higher than I expected. Not horrible but a little high. You need to give them a try if you are in Louisville. I had a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. The fries were amazing. It was a fry trio with waffle, straw style, curly and another style of fries. The seasoning was superb. The other plate was my parents order. It was a meatloaf and sausage recipe that they said was delicious as well.**I updated my review as my second visit was a few days ago (1/15/2020) and it was so good! My wife and I both gave them 5 stars this time as she wasn’t with me last time**

I went here for my brothers birthday and I loved it. The service was fantastic and we had a good time; our server was great I never went without a drink. We got our food fairly quick despite the restaurant being pretty busy and I was not disappointed with the food. the food was fantastic and I would recommend going there to anyone. It's right there on 4th street live. The atmosphere was good too I was pretty relaxed and i had fun.

Server was very pleasant and likeable. Andouille meatloaf spicy to a fine degree, bringing flavor but not being "hot". Very tasty meal. The corn surrounding the meatloaf was just the right side.
Kenneth Lin
It was OK at best. Had the Apricot-Jalapeno glazed salmon. Salmon was a little overcooked and dry. Sweet potatoes were smoked. Didn't really mind that they were, but should have notated it on the menu. Was just caught off guard. There's a bunch of signs inside that say "No photography/video recording". Obviously, I'm a badass.

Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Awesome food. I had the Motley Que. excellent

Roland was a wonderful and helpful server, the place was clean and the food came out fast. The award winning mac & cheese burger was delicious, the chicken was good but the star if the dish was that southwest corn mix. I will be back!

I've been a fan of guy since he first debuted on the Food Network but I never tasted his food until now... Talk about a dive into the flavortown pool party! Great restaurant and even greater staff! The mini has such a variety of food that comes in large portions whether it's the appetizers or the main entree you will get your money's worth. Fair prices huge portions and delicious!
